Today, we’re excited to share an important milestone for Fischer Foods of New York as we take our next step forward.

Since our founding in 1970 under the leadership of Pat Pizzano, Fischer Foods has grown alongside our customers, employees, and vendor partners for more than five decades. Together, we’ve navigated an ever-changing industry by challenging each other to improve, adapt and innovate. That shared journey has shaped who we are today and continues to guide how we serve the market.

As our customers’ needs have evolved, we recognized that partnering with a like-minded organization would allow us to deliver even greater strength, scale and service, both now and in the future. With that in mind, we’re pleased to announce that Fischer Foods of New York has entered into an agreement to join Performance Food Group (PFG), a respected leader in foodservice distribution. Fischer Foods will join Performance Foodservice – Metro NY under the leadership of OpCo President Frank Recine. I will join the Performance Foodservice - Metro NY team as Executive Vice President and other key members of the Fischer team will be joining as well.

PFG has built its reputation on integrity, strong relationships, and a commitment to investing in people and capabilities that support customers and suppliers. We believe this partnership will provide the additional resources and support needed to serve you even better, while preserving the personalized service, responsiveness and trusted relationships that have always defined Fischer Foods.
